I don’t love New Year’s resolutions. So unique, right? I do, however, love goal setting and dreaming, but often feel overwhelmed by ALL of the dreams buzzing through my brain. And then I don’t act on them.
This year, I am giving the concept of a New Year’s theme a try. During the last quarter of 2022, I found myself whispering the words “just start” whenever I felt paralyzed by indecision. Turns out that just starting, with no requirement to keep going, clicked for me. I have officially declared my 2023 theme to be Just Start.
I have been wanting to start a blog for years! So here I am, just starting. I don’t have to publish this post, but I have at the very least begun the process of writing it. I don’t have to finish it today. It doesn’t need to be any prescribed length. I only have to start.
